The files a project can hold to shape TALOS Desktop: instructions, hooks, MCP servers, plugins and skills.

TALOS reads these from the root of a session’s folder. Where two names are listed, the first is read first.

Instructions AGENTS.mdCLAUDE.md: Instructions for the agent, read at the start of every session: AGENTS.md (and CLAUDE.md) at the root of the project.
Hooks .talos/hooks.json.harness-ui-hooks.json: Hooks of the project: { "hooks": [{ "id", "eventi", "comando" }] }. See Hooks.
MCP servers .talos/mcp.json.harness-ui-mcp.json: MCP servers of the project; each runs only after you trust it.
Plugins .talos/plugins.harness-ui-plugins: Plugins of the project (a plugin runs code, so it needs your trust too).
Skills .talos/skills.harness-ui-skills: Skills of the project: instructions the agent can load when relevant.

All of them are control files: a write by the agent asks you first.
