What reaches the server
To send you a page, the server that hosts this website — Vercel — receives what every web server receives: your IP address, the address of the page, the time, and what your browser says about itself (its user agent and, when it sends one, the page you came from).
Vercel processes these requests on our behalf, as our processor, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The request logs we can see are kept for 1 hour; Vercel may keep its own security records under its privacy notice. We use none of it for statistics, profiles or advertising.
Vercel is a U.S. company certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and stays secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
What stays in your browser
No cookies. So that the opening scene and the drawing of the section titles do not replay on every page, the website writes two small notes in your browser's session storage: whether you have seen the opening scene (talos.hero.seen), and which titles have been drawn (talos:incised). They hold no identifier, are never sent to us, and are gone when you close the tab. If your browser blocks storage, the website works the same.

Your rights, and who to ask
This website is published by Antonino Rizzo. You can ask to see, correct or erase data about you, and to restrict or object to its use. With logs kept for 1 hour, there is usually nothing left to find. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Open an issue in the TALOS repository — without personal details — and ask for a private way to reply.
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
