talos project

Whether TALOS trusts the project folder, and the files in it that can run code.

Reference for TALOS CLI 0.3.3 generated from the npm package · released

TALOS CLI 0.5.2 is out; this page still describes 0.3.3 and updates with the next build.

Before a project can load its own hooks, MCP servers, plugins or commands, you trust it. Trust is recorded for the folder and for a snapshot of those files: when one of them changes, TALOS asks again. Your home folder and a drive root are never saved as trusted.

OperationWhat it does
statusdefault Shows whether the project is trusted, why, and the project files that can run code, with their state.
trust Trusts the project and the current snapshot of its executable files.
revoke Removes the trust of the project. Its hooks, MCP servers, plugins and commands stop loading.
migrate-trust Moves a trust record written by an older version to the current store, keeping a backup.
rollback-trust-migration Restores the trust record from the backup made by migrate-trust.

Without an operation, talos project runs status.
