Reference for TALOS CLI 0.3.3
TALOS CLI 0.5.2 is out; this page still describes 0.3.3 and updates with the next build.
Keys are stored in the system credential store (or in memory for the session, if you choose so). A key is never printed. Choosing a model chooses its provider: see `talos model`. Every provider is in Providers.
| Operation | What it does |
|---|---|
listdefault | Lists the providers with the state of their key and the environment variable that can supply one. |
login | Signs in to OpenRouter in the browser and saves the key it returns, after testing it. |
set-key | Asks for a key without echoing it, tests it with a one-token request and saves it if it works. |
env-key | Says whether a key for the provider was found in the environment, and whether TALOS uses it. |
remove-key | Deletes the saved key of a provider. |
configure | Sets the endpoint and/or the request timeout of a provider. |
test | Checks that the provider answers, without generating tokens; prints its state, latency and what to do. |
Without an operation, talos provider runs list.
