Memory
What TALOS for Android remembers between conversations: the kinds of memory, where each applies, and how it reaches the model.
Reference for TALOS for Android 0.1.40
Memory is what you choose to carry into later conversations: a preference, a fact, a way of doing something. It is kept on this phone, on the Memory screen, where you can read, edit, pause and delete each one. The assistant saves one when you ask it to remember something, with memory_write.

How the model reads it
Section titled “How the model reads it”At each message, TALOS adds up to 20 memories that are on and in scope, each up to 2000 characters, as context marked untrusted: the model may use them, and they can never override its rules, its tools or your permissions. Each answer records which memories it used.
memory_search- Search facts you explicitly asked TALOS to remember.
memory_write- Writes to memory what you ask it to remember for future conversations.
memory_update- Rewrites a memory that already exists, instead of creating a second one that contradicts it.
memory_delete- Permanently removes one memory from this device.
