Review what a session changed
See every file a session touched, line by line, with the turn that wrote it and its signed receipt.
Checked on Desktop 0.1.19
A newer version is out (Desktop 0.1.25): some details may differ.
Review shows what the session changed: the list of files it touched and, for each one, the comparison line by line between before and after.
Review
Section titled “Review”- Open Review from the session.
- Go through the list of files. Each says in which turn it was written, whether it is a new file, and — when there is one — the signed receipt of that write.
- Select a file to see its comparison.
A receipt appears only when that change carries one: none is invented to fill the space.
What it does today
Section titled “What it does today”Review shows; it does not decide. Accepting or discarding a single file, and opening it in an editor, are not there yet: they stay hidden until they work, rather than being buttons that do nothing. The changes are on disk: the review is for looking at them. The Git actions of a session’s folder are on the same panel; their operations are listed in Git and GitHub.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- A file you expect is missing — either it was not touched, or it was written by a path that does not go through the review, such as a command in the terminal.
